Hall Place Neighborhood

The entrance to the Hall Place neighborhood. This neighborhood was established around 1910, and one of the famous residents was Amedeo Obici, who built the Planters Chocolate and Nut Company factory. The factory was built so close to the neighborhood that company executives would sometimes walk to work! Also, the teenage boy that sketched the first stick figure of the well-known Planter's icon "Mr. Peanut" lived in this neighborhood.
