This past Saturday, Downtown Suffolk held its annual Holiday Parade on West Washington and North Main Street. The crowd enjoyed seeing local school bands, area businesses and emergency responders, and children got to see some of their favorite characters like Hello Kitty, Mickey Mouse and of course, Santa!

Looks like fun. I am glad to see Hello Kitty has made a great come back. I was a huge Hello Kitty fan in the 80s.
I hope you have a fantastic 2009 with lots more parades to photograph!
